What would a father do for his son?

The movie Snitch comes to the big screen as one of those true stories that will leave a lump in your throat: that of father of the family John Matthews, played by Dwayne Johnson, who for a time moves away from his usual roles in action movies.

The story of Snitch focuses on his character, a father devastated when his teenage son is falsely accused of drug trafficking, facing a prison sentence of 10 years. A sentence which can be cut in a deal with the Government, through its attorney (Susan Sarandon), to work as an informer by infiltrating a drug cartel in jail.

But John won't allow his child to risk his life like that, and presents himself as the volunteer for such a mission, desperate and willing to rescue his son, no matter what ...
